The Nevada bar exam includes the nationwide MBE and MPT portions, as well as a state essay portion that has been reported by students to be particularly challenging. Nevada's bar exam cut score is 140 on a 200-point scale or a total scaled score of 75 or higher.

Nevada has NO RECIPROCITY OR ADMISSION BY MOTION of any kind. The Supreme Court of Nevada does provide limited practice rules including government or in-house counsel, student practice, and legal services. Which bar exam is hardest? California is considered by many to be the most difficult bar exam. It has a relatively low pass rate and a relatively high minimum passing score and covers a lot of state law.

In order to pass the Nevada Bar Exam, an applicant must have a total scaled score of 75 or higher and a converted score of 75 or higher on at least three written essay questions. This equates to a passing score of 140 on a 200-point scale.

You must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school to take the Nevada bar exam, under the rules of the State Bar of Nevada.

The MBE recently added “Civil Procedure” as a test subject. There is also one 90-minute Multi-State Performance Test question. Nevada's exam is among the toughest in the nation; however, first-time test takers have a significantly higher pass rate.
