What is the Texas State Bar paralegal Division?

Paralegal program consisting of a minimum of 18 semester credit hours of which 18 hours are substantive legal courses in addition to a minimum of 45 semester credit hours of general college curriculum courses. Candidates holding a paralegal certificate have completed an educational program. However, this does not make them a certified paralegal. A paralegal can hold a certificate and become certified – but these are two different things. Earning a paralegal credential makes becoming a certified paralegal possible.
