To file a grievance (complaint) against an attorney, complete the Attorney Grievance Form. State what the lawyer did or failed to do which may be unethical.Misconduct Complaints. If you believe that a lawyer violated the Rules of Professional Conduct you may file a complaint with the Virginia State Bar (VSB). "Good cause" for withdrawal generally includes the breakdown of the attorney-client relationship. You do not need to have a motion to fire your attorney.
