If you are 16 to 17 years old and are not in school or are leaving school for full time employment, you will need these working papers.Minors under 14 are not allowed to work, with limited exceptions, such as acting or performing, delivering newspapers, or working in agriculture. Ages 1617 may work up to 8 hours each day. They can work up to 48 hours a week, 6 days per week, and only between am and am. 16 - Basic minimum age for employment.
