The HCAAA's programs are tailored to meet the social, nutritional, educational and logistical needs of all Harris County residents age 60 and above. The Area Agency on Aging provides high-quality services to older adults aged 60 and over.The Adult Services Division provides services to vulnerable adults living in Harris County who are no longer able to care for themselves. These services are available if you are 60 or older or care for a person who is older: Call 800-252-9240 for AAA services. Information, assistance, and referrals to connect older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers to community resources close to home. Established in 1977, the Harris County Area Agency on Aging provides federally funded social services for the elderly. The Harrs County Area Agency on Aging family caregiver support network identifies resources, and assists and promotes awareness to those caring for the elderly. There is not a fee to apply for the Harris Health Financial Assistance Program. Area Agencies on Aging have been serving older adults for more than 45 years. Each agency in the T4A network provides dozens of relevant services and programs.
