The Writ of Assistance may be issued within a few hours to a few days while the moveout period can take a few days to a few weeks. Civil Procedure §12-1148.10A.You must make this request within three days of the judgment being issued, and it won't stop the landlord from evicting you. To get a stay, you must file an "Application for Stay of Execution of Writ of Restitution. There is a "Writ of possession" which is what the landlord would file for once they get a judgment to have the sheriff force you to vacate.
