No, you will not be arrested. There is a 2 week grace period in which you may send a letter of explanation to the Jury Services Department and you will be rescheduled. You will receive a new jury summons in the mail approximately 2-3 weeks before your rescheduled appearance date. You do not need to appear or call.

Jury service is serious business, and you should dress ingly. Business attire is recommended. Shorts, tank tops and flip-flop sandals are not considered appropriate attire for court. Jeans are allowed.
Be able to read and write; not have served as a juror for six days during the preceding three months in the county court or during the preceding six months in the district court; and. not have been convicted of, or be under indictment or other legal accusation for, misdemeanor theft or a felony.
