You will fill out a jury questionnaire and receive an ID tag to insure that YOU are indeed the person called. Jury service at the City of Houston Municipal Courts is for one day only. You have to actually show up unless you are disabled, and if you get picked for the jury then there are certain things you can say to get out of it. Jurors are paid for each day of service and may be eligible to receive reimbursements. Please Note: This will not excuse you permanently from jury duty. You will receive jury pay for the days you are requested to physically attend jury duty.
