It is one of the newest state constitutions in the United States and is the 10th Constitution of the State of Georgia, replacing the previous 1976 Constitution.The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the federal government from conducting "unreasonable searches and seizures. Amendment 4 was designed to add a Paragraph XXX, a variation of a Marsy's Law, to Section 1 of Article I of the Georgia Constitution. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated. The State Board of Pardons and Paroles shall be vested with the power of executive clemency, including the powers to grant reprieves, pardons, and paroles. The Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution protects against unreasonable governmental searches. As a result, Fourth Amendment doctrine does not regulate a government purchase of sensitive geolocation data. All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives. 9th Amendment: Rights not limited to those outlined in the Constitution.
