Kent will give you occasional upgrades to the Silver Shroud outfit if you can keep him alive. You got to be quick to take out Sinjin, Best option is to bring a very power sniper weapon and VATS him in the face as fast as you can.

The easiest way to start the Silver Shroud quest is to go to Goodneighbor then head to the Memory Den, walk in, turn left, turn right, first red door on the right! Once inside you will need to speak to Kent Connolly, he will guide you to the quest. The quest starts at Hubris Comics! I believe you can start the quest.

The best way is to wear the Silver Shroud outfit, wear some shades that add Charisma and if you have them take any chems that do the same. As previously mentioned, speak to him as the Shroud.

Make sure you equip silver shroud hat and coat and equip the silver machine gun. Turn on silver shroud radio and leave it on for the quest duration. Then walk to ally between hotel and memory den to find a crouching man kill him and it should work. I had the same problem.

After you kill Northy, or more accurately, he seems to kill himself, you're supposed to check the body for clues. With the Silver Shroud missions you have to toss a calling card onto the character's body after you kill them to register as complete.I've killed Northy in the silver shroud quest and must search the body. There is a marker on a pile of rubble, but I don't see any way to get under. The Silver Shroud is a side quest in Fallout 4. Contents. After I killed Northy I checked his body for clues and listened to the tape. Almost finished the silver shroud quest but I still get the search body for clues message. The goal in this quest is to find and kill Kellogg the guy who kidnapped our son and killed our wife at the start of the game. Use VATS to take him out. Be sure to leave calling cards on both of their corpses.
