The more difficult way is too use the Silver Shroud dialogue and kill Sinjin first. You'll need too kill him in one hit. The other way is too convince Sinjin too kill you first. Sinjin and his raiders will focus on you and leave Kent alone.
Wear the Silver Shroud costume when you confront the Mechanist in the Automatron DLC and when you go to Dry Rock Gulch in the Nuka-World DLC. You'll not regret it.
As a reward for the help, Kent will offer to improve the Silver Shroud Armor. The upgraded armor will have an additional 15 damage resistance with the same 15% special armor effect, making the visit worthwhile.

The words "fk," "sht," and "ashole" are heard in dialogue. A lot of swear words used except extremely vulgar ones. Once in a very long while you may just hear an F word. Otherwise, the language is not bad or frequent.
