The new Google Lens feature replaced the regular internet search for images in a recent Google Chrome update. With it, you can focus on certain parts of a photo and search for them online, which may yield better results.
Go to settings on your Android mobile. Tap on Apps and Notifications. Now click on the 3 dots located in the upper right corner and tap on show system. Scroll Down and tap on the “Lens” icon. Click on the disable button to disable the google lens on your phone.

If you enable the search history, the contents you browse on The Lens is tracked and recorded in your private search history page. This history is viewable by only you and we will never access or otherwise use it.
