French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights. The French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights (Commission nationale consultative des droits de l'homme – CNCDH) is the French national institution for human rights, established in 1947 in Paris.

The UN Human Rights Council is the principal intergovernmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe, and for addressing and taking action on human rights violations around the globe.

The Inter-American Court exercises a contentious function, in which it resolves contentious cases and supervises judgments; an advisory function; and a function wherein it can order provisional measures.
