I just got a jury summons and it says I have to call in for a full week to see if I'm needed. Last time I was summoned, about a year ago, it was for a day. Collectively you are called the "jury panel. Second time, the case took nearly 7 weeks only for it to end in a mis-trial. My employer wasn't happy. The District Court does not conduct jury trials.
