Title VII prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin. 8.12 Harassment on the basis of sex is a violation of Section 703 of Title VII of the Civil Rights.Act of 1964 as amended. Another type of Title VI violation is based on agency Title VI implementing regulations and is known as the disparate impact or discriminatory effects standard.
