The Cuyahoga County Human Rights Commission (CCHRC) receives, hears and decides complaints of discrimination in employment. Title VII prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin.Cuyahoga County pursuant to Ordinance No. 02016-0007 dated September __, 2016 approved the Cuyahoga County. In the event of a dispute over relevancy of a request the matter shall be referred to the arbitrator for resolution. In a Title VII case the complainant has the initial burden of establishing a prima facie case of racial discrimination. Attorneys from the Appeals Unit also assist law enforcement officers in the preparation of search warrants.
