Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 tops discrimination based on race, color, or where someone is from in programs getting money from the government. Title VI states "no person" shall be subject to discrimination because of race, color, or national origin.To "discriminate" against someone means to treat that person differently, or less favorably, for some reason. Section 1981 prohibits intentional race discrimination in the making and enforcing of contracts, including at-will employment. See 42 U.S.C. § 1981(a). Employment Discrimination. The Fair Practices Ordinance prohibits discrimination in the area of employment. Not constitute Title IX sexual harassment as defined in the Policy 103.
