Not all discrimination is a violation of University policy.This rule establishes definitions and general requirements related to reports of Discrimination. This Rule is also intended to educate the University community. The purpose of this Policy is to provide Southern Utah University's standards prohibiting discrimination and retaliation for protected activity. What is discrimination? Generally, to discriminate against someone means to treat that person differently, or less favorably, for some reason.
