In 2021, Ofsted published a review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges in England. Are they in immediate danger?School staff should always try to avoid acting in a way that might cause injury, but in extreme cases it may not always be possible to avoid injuring the pupil. We believe that King's Schools are pleasant and well-disciplined schools but, although bullying is rare, cases do arise from time to time. We exist to prevent children and young people from becoming involved in violence. King's is committed to being an environment free from bullying and harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. A bombshell 11page open letter describes King's College School in Wimbledon, southwest London, as a 'hotbed of sexual violence'. Children at King Charles's former school were abused over a long period of time with an "extremely violent culture" in some boarding houses. For schools, there's detailed Department for Education advice on what to do if a child is sexually harassed or experiences sexual violence. In England and Northern Ireland, children are the only group of people not fully protected in law from physical assault.
