A female cat is often called a Queen after she has had kittens. She may also be called a Molly until that time, or if she has been spayed. Dam is yet another term used for a female cat with respect to breeding. However, the term, Queen is what is most often used.

The box should be large enough for the cat to move around freely but have low enough sides so that she can see out and you can reach inside to give any needed assistance.
