Students who submit and complete their application on time can expect to receive a decision in mid-April.
There are three ways you'll receive your letter of acceptance: by mail, email, or on your online portal. How schools choose to tell students about their university entry will vary.
NC State University typically releases its regular decision admissions decisions in late March. If you applied for Early Action, you should have received your decision in mid-January to early February. Keep in mind these dates are approximate and can change slightly from year to year!
You will often receive a decision – a college acceptance letter, college rejection letter, or deferral – in December. For the Regular Decision cycle, you will usually receive your college acceptance letter in late-March or early-April.

After Applying Once we receive all the required documents, the review process normally takes approximately 6-8 weeks.
1 Early Action deadline are guaranteed an Admissions decision by Jan. 30. Students that apply by the Feb. 1 Regular Decision deadline are guaranteed an Admissions decision by Apr.

High School GPA: A minimum weighted GPA of 2.5. Standardized Test Scores: Students with a weighted High School GPA greater than or equal to 2.50 and less than 2.80 are required to submit a standardized test score of a 17 or higher on the ACT or a 930 or higher on the SAT.
