The hacking group Medusa has posted files it claims to have illegally obtained from the Tarrant Appraisal District network to the dark web.The Tarrant Appraisal Board is weighing options in response to hackers while investigating the nature of the malicious attack. The deadline to file a protest has been extended until May 24; the business personal property rendition deadline has been extended until May 15. Hackers who targeted the Tarrant Appraisal District are demanding money in exchange for sensitive tax information. Appellant's conviction is reversed and this cause is remanded to the trial court.
