If you submit a two-week notice notice and they say no we don't need it you can leave now, can they say that you quit or that you got fired at unemployment? Pretty sure if it's not in your contract you can write a letter of resignation and say you aren't giving notice, it's effective immediately.In Texas we are under no obligation to accept the two week notice and it is still considered a resignation because they demonstrated intent to leave.
