Trying to work at your civilian job, or any civilian job, while you are on active duty is a bad idea for several reasons. If you insist on doing this, you will need explicit permission both from your military commander and from your civilian employer.
It is generally possible to join the military without losing your job. Many military service members are able to maintain their civilian employment while serving in the military, either by participating in the Reserve or National Guard or by serving in a part-time capacity.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recognizes the sacrifices military families make, which is why certain green card applications for military spouses may be eligible for expedited processing.
The Military Spouses Residency Relief Act allows military spouses to declare the same state of legal residency as their spouse. The Veterans Benefits and Transition Act allows spouses to choose their service member's state of legal residence even if they have not lived in that state.
Can an employer require an employee to produce military orders before granting a military leave of absence? 20/20/15 former spouses must provide proof of 20 years of service, 20 years of marriage, and proof of 15 to 20 years of concurrence to be eligible for one year of benefits after a divorce. After a year, they will have the option to buy a (Department of Defense) DoD-negotiated conversion health policy.

Dear Service Member, THANK YOU for everything you have sacrificed to serve our country. I do not take my freedom for granted and I'm grateful every day there are people like you who put their lives on the line. I don't know you personally, but I feel the sacrifice you and your family offer up every day.
How to Write Your First Letter Keep things light. Share things about yourself like hobbies or interests. Write about your life but keep it positive. Thank them for their service. If you have connections in the military, mention that. Be positive. Stay away from political or polarizing topics.
