A resignation acceptance letter is a formal way to acknowledge that you accept your employee's request to resign. According to the Employment Act 1955, employers technically cannot reject your resignation.This is because of Section 12 of the Act. In view of the above, I may kindly be permitted to work for one month in notice period and I will pay amount in lieu of 2nd month notice period. Standard in Malaysia is 30 days or 90 days. The letter should include the date of the resignation, the employee's name, the position they held, and the date of the acceptance. If your contract specifies a notice period, youmust either serve the notice when you resign or pay compensation in lieu of notice. The accounting department has been notified and you will be paid up to and including Sept. 15, when your notice period would have ended.
