Therefore, jurors are requested to dress in a manner that is respectful to the litigants and the court. You may wear comfortable but appropriate business-like clothing. Shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts should not be worn.
B. Persons summoned as jurors who, without reasonable excuse, either fail to appear for jury service or refuse to serve, shall be liable for a fine not to exceed $500, payable to the county in which the person was summoned, or may be punished for contempt of court.
If you are selected to serve on a trial, you must remain for the duration of jury selection and the trial. Once your service is completed, you will not be eligible to be selected again for three years.
