My hope for every professing member of a church is to find that happiness and to nurture it in the church. Methodist Church, effective., for the purpose of joining another denomination. If you were received as a church member at confirmation you can send a letter to the church and ask that you membership be terminated. Why not just ask them to send a letter of "good standing" to the new church, and drop your name from their rolls? The ballots will then be counted, and the results will be announced before we close in prayer. Lift us up in prayer. I encourage you to use the prayers in the back of the BCP for families, children and young people. And is a great leader in the United Methodist Church.
