Dear Chairman Board of Elders,. I am writing to withdraw my membership from Grace Community Church.I joined TNPC last month; however, I still need to write the letter officially terminating my membership at my parents' Methodist Church. Write a long, nasty, mean-spirited letter to explain everything that they dislike about the church and articulate their own self-pity at length. A member shall request an appropriate letter of dismissal from the staff person in charge of membership for the purpose of transfer to another church. You are allowed to resign from a church whenever you wish to do so, no matter what your covenant, church constitution or designated church leader says. I am looking for some advice on how to resign my membership at my church, on good terms, but still occasionally attend. I wish to bring to your attention a matter of personal significance- my decision to end my membership with our church.
