Dear Chairman Board of Elders,. I am writing to withdraw my membership from Grace Community Church.Got my membership withdrawal letter. I have the intention of writing and submitting a letter to the church I was a part of that would basically entail withdrawing my membership. Write a long, nasty, mean-spirited letter to explain everything that they dislike about the church and articulate their own self-pity at length. I have found some churches deny the withdrawal of membership while under church discipline. The following sections of the Pastoral Manual are offered to assist them in serving the faithful. In the case of a withdrawal a simple announcement that someone has withdrawn from the church should suffice. Keep it short and to the point. The proper power of the church is that of interpreting Scripture in a particular context.
