The first step is to apply to the San Jose State University through calstate/apply. The second step is to apply for admission to the program. Three (3) letters of recommendation attesting to your leadership ability and potential for success in a doctoral program.
SJSU evaluators review your application for CSU eligibility within 7-10 business days. Your status will change to “RF-Referred to Dept.” if your application documents contain narrative evaluations. Graduate Admissions (GAPE) will post the university admission decision to your MySJSU account.
Admission decisions are typically made 8 to 12 weeks after all application materials are received. Even after you are admitted, you still may have outstanding requirements required to complete your application.
