How to cancel an Outlook meeting without sending a notification? Open Outlook and head to the Send/Receive tab. Next, click on the 'Calendar' icon in the left panel and double-click on the meeting you want to cancel. Select the 'Cancel' button to delete the Outlook meeting.
Click the participants pane on the top toolbar. This will show you who's already in the meeting, who's been invited to the meeting and who is online from your team. Add participants. Once you've opened the participant pane, at the top you'll see an option to add someone.
The existing meeting attendees are not notified about the added attendee. If existing attendees need to know that an additional attendee was added to the meeting, then the organizer must open the meeting in the calendar and send a meeting update to all of the attendees.
In the “Send Update to Attendees” dialog box, choose “Send updates only to added or deleted attendees” and click “OK.”
In your meeting controls. To ask someone who was invited to join the meeting, hover over their name and select Request to join. To add someone who wasn't previously invited, type their name or phone number in the Invite someone or dial a number field.
You can delete a person from the To line of the meeting request, or use the Scheduling Assistant from the Meeting menu. If you're using the Scheduling Assistant, in the All Attendees list, clear the check box next to the name of the person you want to remove.
