We discuss issues in the Council side of City Hall and hold Stated Meetings, meetings held twice every month, and at Council Members' discretion during July and August, in the Council Chambers to vote on legislation.
Introduce Yourself: Make some small talk! In bigger cities where council members have staff, the staff are often very helpful to know. Tell them about yourself and your priorities and ask them about their priorities. Tell them you'd like to be a resource for them.
Here is an e.g. intro: “Good evening Mr. Mayor, City Councilmembers, and staff. My name is XYZ and I live in XYZ. I've come here to talk about/bring to your attention XYZ.” Additionally, some people say how long they've lived in Glendale if that is applicable.
