With respect to meeting notices, Special Commissions must file a meeting notice with the clerk of either the House or Senate. Meeting Notices must be filed with the City Clerk's Office.A public body shall post notice of every meeting at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. You may download the document here, print it, and fill it out. 48 Hour Notice is required. All public bodies (i.e. "The purpose of the Open Meeting Law is to ensure transparency in the deliberations on which public policy is based. This video series explains the requirements of the Commonwealth's Open Meeting Law (OML). To address this issue, Massachusetts law requires public bodies to give notice to the public of its meetings.
