Some states require that an announcement, called a publication requirement, be published in local newspapers upon creation of an LLC or corporation.

What should I do? The filing period for a business corporation or LLC is the calendar month in which its original Certificate of Incorporation, Articles of Organization or Application for Authority was filed with the New York Department of State.
