A shareholders meeting is a meeting of the owners of a corporation. Owners choose directors at their meetings.Directors need not be residents of Texas or shareholders of the Corporation. Regular meetings of the board of directors may be held with or without notice as prescribed in the nonprofit corporation's Bylaws. Shareholder meetings can be held on short-term notice if the required number of shareholders have agreed to attend the meeting in such a short period of time.
