FY2025 Adopted Budget. Mecklenburg County's FY2025 budget totals $2.5 billion, an increase of $140 million or 5.9% over the FY2024 budget. The Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, adopted Mecklenburg County's budget for Fiscal Year 2025.
North Carolina ended the 2024 fiscal year on June 30 with revenues of $33.69 billion. This is exceptionally close to the state's budgeted amount of $33.73 billion, coming in just 0.1% below the certified budget.
