Record a Document You have three options for recording your documents in the Official Records: You can bring your original documents in person, along with the appropriate fees, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Miami-Dade County Courthouse. You can eRecord your document through one of our approved vendors.

You must notify the Clerk & Comptroller's Office in writing of any address changes. There is a Change of Address form that can be completed, or you may use your own form/paper. The change of address request should include the following information: Case Number and Division.

The original Notice should be sent to the County Recorder, P.O. Box 011711, Flagler Station, Miami, Florida 33101.

It's called “Pro Se” (for yourself) representation. You almost always have this right. It's just usually better to be represented by an attorney in court, unless the stakes are low enough that the costs of hiring one are not justified.
