Make the money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security. A filing fee is required for many immigration forms.If you do not submit the correct fee, we will reject your form. Use this form to replace your Green Card. To fill out the money order, you will need to "Pay to" U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Do NOT sign the back of the money order. Leave that portion entirely blank. As long as the US Department of Homeland Security is the payee, USCIS does not care what address you put on the money order. The SAWS 2 Plus form has those questions if you want to fill out the paper form (just ask the County). Complete both sides of the form and retain a copy for your records.
