It is a violation of this section for an employer to discharge or otherwise discriminate or retaliate against an employee for disclosing or discussing conduct. On the Effective Date, employers will be barred from requesting that workers sign blanket nondisclosure and nondisparagement agreements.Nondisclosure agreements are only as effective as they are enforceable. The bill still allows you to require nondisclosure agreements related to proprietary and trade secret information.
