There is a link to the Judicial Council website where you can find forms and information. There are also local forms available on this website. You must fill out an Answer, serve the plaintiff, and file your Answer form with the court. Generally, this is due within 30 days after you were served. You will need to draft your own pleading or motion on pleading paper. When you participate in our workshops or seek individual assistance, our team of dedicated attorneys meticulously review your pleadings, all at no cost to you. Sample pleading forms can be located at the law library in practice guides such as the Forms of Pleading and Practice. This chapter describes your options for responses and gives guidance for completing the forms. Every pleading must set forth the name of the court and county in which the action is brought and the title of the action. Information on San Bernardino Court Locations and general information on filings is available on the Court's website.
