Allegheny College was founded in April 1815 by Timothy Alden, a graduate of Harvard's School of Divinity. The college has been affiliated with the United Methodist Church since 1833 but does not integrate religion into the classroom or pedagogy.

This weekend is our annual Congregational Vote, where ACAC members will select the officers who will serve our church in the next year. These Pittsburgh region business and civic leaders are standing in support against hatred and violence in our region and everywhere.Candidates for ministry in the Allegheny West Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church can utilize these forms to apply. Annual social events include a Fall Crawl to the different religious houses on campus for socializing over food, and a Religious Life Mixer in the spring. Today, we celebrate and invest in the pastors, people, and ministries of Allegheny Conference as part of the wider BIC U.S. church family. ACO is a large-group fellowship that helps students to know and follow Jesus. We meet at Ford Chapel at pm every Tuesday. Ninetyseven people from twentytwo churches came together at the Maple Spring Covenant Brethren Church in Eglon, WV for worship, fellowship and business. The Thirty-sixth Assembly of the Allegheny Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be held in person Saturday, June 15, 2024, am to 5pm. Participants explored the curriculum's core pillars: grace, character development, and mission.
