Satisfaction of Judgment. The prevailing party shall file a satisfaction of judgment in the justice court within forty days after a judgment has been paid in full.This is a Court document that says the party who was ordered to pay money or deliver property to the other party has done so and has completed their obligation. This form proves that the judgment was paid. As a general rule, judgment creditors here in Arizona are required to record a satisfaction of judgment once the judgment itself has been recorded. Satisfaction of a judgment means that the judgment is no longer a lien on the debtors real property. The side that had judgment ruled in their favor has 30 days to file a satisfaction of judgment if it has been paid in full.
