I'm selling a property in Kasoa and I'm told that the King is dead (RIP) and cannot sign the indenture. As someone not from Ghana I don't understand. Is it lawful to place a timeline in a purchased land indenture in Ghana to deprive the purchaser ownership after not meeting the timeline due to finances? A land search involves applying to the Ghana Lands Commission to ask for the validation and ownership of a particular land. Submit Required Documents: Two passportsized photos of yourself and your representative (real estate agent). At the meeting, you will need to complete a land purchase agreement. Upon completing this process, you will receive a new indenture between you and the organization, formally documenting your ownership. A lawyer draws up the deed as a formal indenture, while a professional or licensed land surveyor prepares the plan. The precise location of the land or property must be clearly provided in the indenture; else it is not valid. The Indenture is the legal document that shows the original ownership of the property.
