Who is Eligible for Access-A-Ride? Person with a disability that substantially prevents her from independently using the subway or bus. AAR eligibility does not require a physical disability. People with temporary disabilities may be eligible.

Adult Protective Services are available to New Yorkers age 18 or older, living in the community, who due to physical or mental impairment are at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

The applicant, or co-applicant, must be 18 years of age or older or an emancipated minor to be eligible for public housing. At least one person in the applicant household must be a United States citizen or have eligible immigration status for the household to be eligible for the Public Housing program.

How soon after the interview will I receive my APS certificate? Candidates can expect to receive their APS certificate within two weeks following the successful completion of their interview.
