If it isnt' acceptable, you need to have a conversation with them about what can be changed.A conditional offer of employment is a job offer in which the employer agrees to hire an employee only if certain conditions are met. From what I understand is that it basically means you got the job. It's perfectly okay to reply with, "Thank you for the offer. I really appreciate it. Always, always, always ask for more. It makes them respect you and you're likely to get it. Everything in terms of compensation should always be spelled out in the offer letter, including salary, vacation, equity, vesting schedule, benefits, etc. Clearly state your formal acceptance of the job offer.
