In California, if you're the person owed money (the creditor), you can place a judgment lien on the debtor's real estate or personal property. Form must be filled out and notarized at the time of filing.Please type or laser-print information on this form. Be sure information provided is legible. For each of these items, enter either an organization name or an individual name, not both. Provide the complete mailing address for each judgment debtor. Complete the Abstract of Judgment Form. To put a judgment lien against real property, you must complete: Abstract of Judgment, Civil and Small Claims (EJ-001).
