Short title.This Act may be cited as the Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act. The Act focuses on the ability of employers to enforce restrictive covenants with employees, including noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements. The Illinois workers' compensation law requires employers to have insurance to cover work-related injuries and occupational diseases regardless of fault. Employees must provide documentation to their employers to show their identity and authorization to work. Numerous federal requirements govern drugfree workplace policies. The paiiies agree that KCSO has the right to assign employees to perform work. Employer, employee, agent of any employer, employment agency, or labor organization to engage in sexual harassment of nonemployees in the workplace.
