Section 206 grants a pregnant woman up to 17 weeks of leave. This starts no earlier than 13 weeks before the estimated date of confinement.Pregnant employees have the right to take pregnancy leave of up to 17 weeks of unpaid time off work. In some cases the leave may be longer. Each Full-time PPL Eligible Employee is entitled to a total of 320 hours of Paid Parental Leave in a 12 month period. A pregnant employee is entitled to up to 17 weeks of maternity leave. You can begin maternity leave no sooner than 13 weeks before the due date. A leave of 18 consecutive weeks without pay is provided. Only a pregnant person or a person who has given birth is entitled to this leave. (b) An employer shall pay wages paid on commission and bonuses to an employee in a timely manner as required for the payment of other wages under this chapter.
