SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — Students who live in Tijuana but attend school in San Diego now have access to a “fast lane” that allows them to cross the border much faster in the morning. This expedited access will only be available between 6 and 10 a.m. at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

All Students, and Parents of Dependent Students, must provide objective evidence of a permanent Domicile and physical presence in California on a continuous basis for a period of at least one year immediately before the relevant Residence Determination Date (dates indicated in the tables below).

Verification of Address If your current address is not listed on your photo identification, please bring one of the following documents: Utility bill (electric, cable, phone, water) Official mail with a recent postmark, i.e. bank statement, insurance bill, etc. Vehicle registration or proof of insurance.

The process of requesting proof of enrollment depends on your college or university. In many cases, you can submit a request online through the school's website. But if that's not available for you, you may need to visit the registrar's office to submit your request or send it in the mail.
