Arizona veterans who are 50 percent or 100 percent disabled may be entitled to a range of benefits, including disability compensation, education aid, and healthcare services. However, navigating the VA disability process can be challenging for veterans, especially those dealing with a denied claim.
Age: At least one property owner must be the minimum qualifying age of 65 at the time of application. Residence: The property must be the owner(s) primary residence.
The exemption application process for individuals and organizations is described in A.R.S. 42-11152 . In almost every case, the taxpayer must file an application with the county assessor, which provides the information required by the assessor to make an exemption determination.
